Let’s take a closer look at three ingredients used in the wipes.

1. Bamboo fibre

Bamboo is one of the most versatile fibres and has a number of fantastic environmental benefits. Did you know that bamboo is antibacterial and naturally resistant to insects and infecting pathogens? Bamboo is also a self-sufficient crop that doesn’t need irrigation or replanting! It uses water more efficiently that cotton or other trees, and bamboo can miraculously sprout on its own. One acre of bamboo will yield 10 times more than one acre of cotton. So bamboo by default has less crop waste than cotton, because it can be grown without pesticides and irrigation equipment. On top of this, bamboo is stronger, more absorbent and softer than cotton. What a great natural resource!

2. Plant extracts

Chamomile, Aloe Vera and green tea are three of the most ancient and well-used medicinal plants. All three are known for their calming, healing, and soothing properties. The antioxidants within each plant can help soothe and boost the health of your pet’s skin to bring out his inner glow and reduce redness or irritation.

 3. Essential oils

Our formula contains a variety of essential oils including calendula, rosemary, sesame seed, cedarwood and lemongrass. Calendula and lemongrass both have antifungal, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that make it useful for healing sores and relieving muscle inflammation. Rosemary is best known for relieving pain and stress in both humans and animals. Cedarwood is a natural deodorizer and insect repellent. It also helps to relax and ease body tension, while soothing skin irritation, inflammation, redness, dryness and itchiness. When used in hair, cedarwood is known to cleanse and enhance circulation to the tissue, while also stimulating healthy growth. Together, these essential oils are perfect for cleansing, deodorizing and nourishing your pet’s skin and coat.
